Our Furnace Maintenance Checklist Includes The Following:

  • Check and tighten all electrical connections and measure voltage and current on motors. Faulty electrical connections can cause unsafe operation of your system and reduce the life of major components.
  • Clean burners and gas orifices, 
  • Check combustion/flame and inspect heat exchanger for any cracks.
  • Inspect flue pipe for any hole, crack, dislocation, and rust which can result in Carbon monoxide leak
  • Check gas connections for any gas leak, measure and adjust gas pressure if needed,
  • Lubricate moving parts if needed Parts that lack lubrication cause friction in motors and increases the amount of electricity you use.
  • Check controls and safeties to ensure proper and safe operation. Cycle the system and test if the system starts, operates, and shuts off properly.
  • Check thermostat connections, tightens and check the settings to ensure the cooling and heating system keeps you comfortable when you are home and saves energy while you are away.
  • Inspect, clean, or change air filters
  • Inspect supply and return vents for any restriction
  • Check and inspect the condensate drain and collector box for 90+ % furnace
